Will there be a Texas team in the APFL in 2013?

Anythings possible, but I haven't heard anything solid so far. They had three teams in Texas a few years back and with Oklahoma in the league it would be a natural rivalry.

The APFL has had teams in Texas when it's made less sense, so that wouldn't surprise me.

Will there be a Texas team in the APFL in 2013? I think we should be asking you that question.

Whats up Gusher's its been a while. I'm trying to get the Galveston and Beaumont areas in so I can have Texas ties for the IIFA.

Good luck.
Beaumont has 2 arenas. The Civic Center in down town. It's old seats 4000 but served the Drillers well the first 2 seasons. Ford Park on the west end of town new seats 7,000. Nice arena. I have heard both of them are inexpensive and work with the tenets well. Beaumont is a tough market though Lamar football came back after being dormant for 20 years 2 years ago. The 1st year great attendance 2nd year about half as many returned. High school football is king with over 10,000 attending a game on any given Friday night you would think "football" would be an easy sale.
I know very little about Galveston other than finding a suitable arena may be tough.

I know about both arena in both Galveston and Beaumont. I have played and coached in the ford center its nice. In 2008 the Galveston Thunderstorm which played in the IIFA played their home games at the Convention Center which was nice as hell. We (the Crunch) played the Thunderstorm for the 1st IIFA championship there.

I remember that. They had temporary dasher walls that would move when you hit them.

They got a forfeit win in 2005 (they didn't win any games on the field that season).
