Just a rumor so far.

If they do go though, they'd be the overwhelming favorite for 2013 (if rosters stayed the same that is).

Is the apfl a home for IFL mediocre records?

The roster wouldn't stay the same. It is a rumor but yes, it would make things interesting. I referenced that in the chat window. Also Apfl could be a new home for the Danger (rumor mill). It's the travel expenses of the IFL, which is forcing these teams to search outside the league for a more economically sound travel. That is all I will post on the topic, as more happens, PM me for details.

That's all well and good, but you'll still see the problem of pro (Bandits, Wild, Danger) vs semi-pro (Express, Outlaws, Koyotes). I don't know if the Defenders were paid.

When Sioux City left for the APFL, I and others noted that if this works for them financially, other IFL teams will follow.
I think you can make a real argument that it's worked for them financially. Potentially now, other teams are looking to follow.

I think the APFL tries to do things right with roster limits and rules about player geography... It is the semi-pro elements on the bottom half of the league that make is a 2nd tier indoor league..

I think this would be a good move for the Wild and for the league, especially if the Danger come along too. It will either force the bottom to come up or lop off. It would add some good competition and built-in rivalries to the game. Give the Bandits some competition, I think even SC fans would admit that is needed. If ths happens I think it would be a big boost forward for the APFL.

Only potential drawback for Nebraska moving is I don't recall when Mike McCoy came to be associated with indoor football in Wichita...aviator days?

Sent from my ADR6400L using ProBoards I agree, was thinking the same thing. I don't think they'll be able to kiss and make up, but stranger things have happened.

The rift between McCoy and the Adams' was well known back in the day. At the time, the Wichita Aviators were owned by the APFL and managed by McCoy. Also, McCoy isn't the owner of the Danger either so he may just have to go along for the ride if Bob Scott has convinced his boss to give it a try. But I'm sure he'll make his best pitch to their owner to stay away from the APFL.

If the Danger and the Wild move, does anyone see the Titans moving?

I don't think the Titans would go APFL, but that's just my take.
