Well, guess I should start the new board now then. I'll keep the new name quiet until it's officially announced.

I contacted Ted Adams and he replied that the Koyotes WILL be back next year and so will the APFL. I expect the APFL to be a pretty bad league if that's true since it is my feeling that most of the current teams will more than likely bolt to the CPIFL.

He's responded to that question and a standings one late in the season. All my other questions have been ignored (mainly history of the APFL), so he's batting like .200 or so.

I guess it's all but official that Council Bluffs, Mid-Missouri, and Oklahoma are gone to the CPIFL.
The APFL has reverted to a 2003-level roster of teams. However, with a good round of expansion they could end up with a 2005-level roster of teams.

However, with a good round of expansion they could end up with a 2005-level roster of teams. There will be some surprises. As far as APFL, I see it closer to 2003-level talent-wise. The AIF, UIFL, and APFL will be semi-pro levels in 2013.

Since the APFL removed a bunch of teams from there site I went ahead and removed those teams from the list of returning teams. I put Colorado back into the list of returning teams since they were not removed from the site and Springfield was (even though they both folded). It looks like the APFL will try to resurrect Colorado (but I still think it's doomed to fail even if they are able to bring them back). It looks like they may try to bring Cheyenne back as well, even though they left the league to play semi-pro teams later in the season.

well with the APFL2 in town it shouldn't be that hard to crank up the fire on a another semi pro dancing chicken and call them the lighting WTF is up with DeKalb? I hope they have some other teams in the area hiding up their sleave and split the league in to converances.. .I don't see making a 14-15 hour drive a good thing(CO/WY to IL). that means 2 drivers per bus or an over nite stay each way on the road (CDL hours of service), and I can't imagine flying on a APFL budget.. Topeka just need to join the "new" league in the best instrested of being competive and giving the home crowd a good show(ie not a blow out) focus the APFL on a small reagon(s) within a few hours drive of each other (instead of trying to make Kansas the center of it all)... you cant expect barely pro/semi pro to afford pro type travel distanstances
