Yeah I think sioux city will be the only competitive former apfl team. Lincoln might be one too but most of their players don't have indoor experience so we'll have to see. Could be a long year for a few teams.

hard to tell what will happen, but I think Wichita certainly threw down the gauntlet early with their performance against Oklahoma.
The Sioux City Bandits will be solid, they're returning a lot of what they had last year plus a little bit more. I'm excited to see them open the season.
Bloomington is a former IFL team, but I honestly don't know how much they return. I would expect them to be competitive, but we'll find out a lot this next weekend.
Wichita opened the season making a statement. They said "here we are and we're here to win."
Oklahoma also made a statement to open the season. They said "we're not good enough yet."
Kansas I expect to be similar to what they were, but they haven't released a roster yet. I'd expect a lower end product on the field, but who knows.
Kansas City has some names on their roster that have done a lot in indoor football. It'll be fun to see them actually on the field playing.
Lincoln has a lot of new faces who haven't played indoors. Grixby is always a playmaker. They stayed competitive against the IFL Danger starters vs starters. Take what you will from that.
Mid-Missouri wasn't very good in the APFL when it came to playing against the top. I don't expect them to be very competitive against the top in this league either.
The Beef have some names from the past, but they also have a lot of guys who got thumped by the Bandits last year on roster, too. They'll compete, but they're the Beef. They never win the big one.
Selina is a wild card to me, I don't know much about them. I don't expect them to be competitive, but stranger things have happened.

We for sure right now in my eyes have a top 5 and a bottom 5. Wild, Beef, SC, Edge, and Oklahoma, aside from OK in the 5th spot the top 4 could be anyone right now. Lincoln will be top of bottom the more i look at things followed by, KC, Kansas, Salina, and Mid-Mo.

I will be at Kemper a week from today, hopefully watching OJ torch his old team and help one of Blitzin's bottom 5 beat up on one of his top five. I will have my fingers crossed.

Peter Buck anchoring the defense with Duval Kamara at safety could be very good. Offensively we look like we could struggle. The recievers had 3 drops against the lawdawgs. The offense needs some time to gel together. Wes holland is a bright spot in the return game. I hope they can get over the hump this year and finally win a big game. I'd also throw out the edge and oklahoma in that top five from above. I would have lincoln and kc in the top 5.

I feel the same. I have high hopes for KC but like you said, till they take the field, who knows.
I am just happy to have another team back in KC. I will just miss the slack nets, I really like that aspect of the arena game.

exactly all we are doing is going off of stats from last year and where guys played in the past. We should know a little bit about our teams by this time next week.

Indeed, and that is what makes everything so exciting for next weeks games!
