It was Giles for the two games. The Xavier took over for one. Supposedly he had a family emergency that kept him from playing last week, but here we are in week 6 and Xavier is not under center.
Did Xavier leave? This this new guy out play him in practice and have taken over permanently ?
Just curious.

kcrenegades.com/?page_id=22So does that mean that Cavanugh (let us call him Slash Jr.) is our WR and 2nd string QB, and Marlborough is the third string?

Marlborough left the team when Lee came in and took his spot after only one practice.
Cavanaugh is the only QB on the roster at this time.
It's minor league football. You never know if Lee is going to come back.

Carlos Cavanaugh played for the Wichita Wild for several years and although he is primarily a reciever he is an excellent QB- he played that position as a back up several times and always played like a starting QB. Although we love our current "Wild" team, Carlos was a fan favorite.

If the receivers had hands on their feet, Cavanaugh would be a world class QB. I have never seen so many balls bounce off the ground in front of the receiver's feet. Lee needs to come back. And the center needs be let go. All game Cavanaugh was having to ball hiked at his face of over his head. We are lucky that only one ball flew over the QB's head.
One more gripe. While KC was outplayed in this game, the refs sure did not help. A lot of bad calls, but the one that just boggles my mind was the interception to end the 1st half. The play happened right in front me. KC intercepted the ball and went to try to return it, then right in front of the ref a Bomber player that was on the ground leg whipped the the KC player and tripped him. WTF, it was a blatant leg whip and it happened 8 feet in front of a ref, but no flag.

Lee was crossed off our roster for us in the PA booth, you can take what you want from that.

I am not saying he did a bad job, just wondering if a little consistence at the QB position may help the team. It has to be hard for the wide receivers to get use to a new quarterback every other week.

Chris Coffin!! He is still around? I would think he would have to be pretty old by now- Kudos for him still playing!

I am not saying he did a bad job, just wondering if a little consistence at the QB position may help the team. It has to be hard for the wide receivers to get use to a new quarterback every other week. The answer is a resounding yes, not only for the WRs but for the line as well, not to mention having a well rehearsed full playbook. On the other hand, players out of position, family and health emergencies, as well as "real-jobs" sometimes leads to roster reshuffling. Wishing all the best of health and remember even in the AF2, those rosters are so transient that you will even sometimes see players not on the roster all year, all the sudden appear for the playoffs.

I'd say pretty decent:
Game one vs. SC: 30-14-0 102 3 20
Game two vs. BE: 23-13-1 166 3 42
Game three vs. OD:23-15-0 184 7 38
Only one Int and 13 td in three games and over 450 yards passing with a qb rating over 107, he is doing good things for sure.

Nice. Amazing he still has it after such a long layoff.

Speaking of Long Layoffs... you'll find out Coffin isn't the only old QB out of retirement. Storm starting QB..
Terrance Bryant....
