LaMonte Coleman – President
LaMonte Coleman is the CEO and Head Coach for the Marion Blue Racers Professional Football Team and CEO of Run 42 Sports Group LLC. Coleman has just finished his fourth year as a general manager and third as an owner in the Indoor Football game. In his first year as an owner and general manager, the Blue Racers reached the championship game in the Continental Indoor Football League in 2011. Coleman also was responsible for promoting seven (7) players and staff members up to higher leagues as a first year owner. In 2012, Coleman was named the Defensive Line Coach for the Arena Football League’s Pittsburgh Power.
Coleman has been highly visible in the Marion, Ohio community since 2010 when he was the general manager for the Marion Mayhem Professional Football Team. Once they folded after six games, Coleman decided to make his own footprint in the community that embraced him.
Coleman is also the Director of Sales for Run 42 Sports Group. In three years, he has signed multi-year contracts with Pepsi/Gatorade, McDonalds, Frontier Communications, Amerizon Wireless, Aarons, and Rent A Center. Local companies such as Ralphies Family Eatery and Rivers Edge Embroidery and Screen Printing have paved the way for the Blue Racers for three consecutive years.
Coleman was an All American running back for Slippery Rock University from 1992-1994 and signed a two year contract to play running back in the National Football League with Super Bowl XXX runner-up Pittsburgh Steelers in 1995.
Coleman has also played for various teams in the Arena and Indoor leagues. In 2001, Coleman was the Offensive Most Valuable Player for the National Indoor Football League while playing running back for the Johnstown J-Dogs.
Coleman rushed for over 1,000 yards and scored 38 times during his MVP season. Notably, he was the starting fullback/linebacker for the Arena Football 2, Wilkes Barre-Scranton Pioneers who were owned by Hall Of Famer Johnny Unitas in 2002.
In 2008, Coleman earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Sports Leadership and Sports Humanities from The Ohio State University. His favorite subject is Sports Law.
Coleman has been endorsed by pillars of the great Buckeye State of Ohio. The following include; Two- time Heisman Trophy Winner Archie Griffin, Lt. Governor Mary Taylor, National Football League Alumni President James Karsatos, Marion Mayor Scott Schertzer, Pittsburgh Power Head Coach Derek Stingley and many more.
Coleman has been married to his wife Shavonne for nine years and have two children, Kennedy 5 and Christopher 2.
Andrew Haines – Vice President
Andrew & Leah have been married for 15 years, and business partners for over 13. At age 19 Andrew created his first business, which was in the commercial construction industry.
From there Andrew & Leah founded a window coverings retail business, which had 3 locations. In 2001 the couple started their first sports teams while also developing a specialty advertising company called Biz Sellers.
Through Biz Sellers, Andrew & Leah have personally bought and sold dozens of businesses in a variety of industries. Since 2001 the Haines’s have started
over 30 minor league sports teams in indoor football, hockey, and basketball. In addition to sports team ownership, the pair also has owned several minor league sports leagues in indoor football, hockey, and basketball.
In addition to the XIFL, and the Missouri Monsters, Andrew also owns a new professional indoor soccer team in the Greater St. Louis area called the St. Louis Ambush.
The Haines’s currently have ownership in multiple businesses including a Marketing Agency and Manufacturing Company. They volunteer at several charities, and have served as board members on 3 non-profit organizations. The couple has a daughter Natira, and son A.J..
Kacee Smith – Secretary/Treasurer
Kacee Smith is the owner and General Manager of the Georgia Rampage Professional Indoor Football team. Kacee has been a General Manager in professional indoor football for three years. Kacee began working in minor league sports at age 19 when he founded a minor league team, the North Georgia Bulldogs.
Kacee was the owner and President of the minor league team during it’s six years of existence. The team was very successful, having undefeated seasons and winning team of the year multiple times. He also helped numerous players advance to a higher level of football. Kacee has worked with several indoor teams over the past five years.
He has also owned his own supplement store and now works for corporate GNC. Kacee has a vast knowledge in business start up, management, and marketing. He has been married to his wife, Belinda for five years. They have a two year old son, Kacedon Kasiah.
