Miami looks pretty good, they have some talent and have been marketing. The Inferno pounded Florida in game one, from pictures it looked like the Tarpons arena was pretty empty.
Voodoo is in Corpus Christi after a LONG road trip to play a talented Fury team, I think the voodoo are in for a rough game!
Dittman has the best two teams in the UIFL.

I agree with all of the above.
Miami over Corpus in the title was my preseason pick and I see nothing so far that will change my opinion on that.
I'm definitely curious to see how all four teams handle the massive travel distances though. Can all four teams make it through the entire season?

I like the Fury over Miami in the championship. I think Dittmans teams (CC and Miami) will be fine. Florida and Missouri could have some troubles with the travel. Rumors of Florida having cash problems before the year were not helped with a real small crowd for the home opener, however the schedule helps them, they only have to travel one time to Corpus Christi and Missouri.
The Voodoo is another matter, they had a 15+ hour bus trip to Corpus Christi yesterday and I will be surprised if they keep this game close.

Hats off to the Fury. Let's us know what we need work on and that we can't just sit back and cruz. Gonna have to work. I'm proud of my guys, going in there and not really knowing what to expect in this league. Well now we know. Hats off to my guys that stepped in to play oline for this game. We had not one starting olinemen that could make that trip and our left side WR. Also was not able to travel. Would this have made a difference, .....who knows. But I belive we would have been more able to go score for score with them. ( There, that's my excuses. ..lol) But, in the end, yes they handed it to us. I love a challenge! We will bounce back.

How'd your kicker do? I used to kick for the wolfpack. Tell Joe Helms I said hello.

Will do. Do to the fact that our active roster can only be 19. And we were short handed on line men. We elected to not bring our kicker to this game.

Thanks for responding Voodoo! You need to dress a kicker the announcers were saying your kickoffs were awful! First game in the league vs a good team, you scored 20, could have been worse! I am sure you learned a lot from this your first game (can send 2 WR in forward motion) in the UIFL.
Have a safe trip home!
