W-L Records between teams by former league affiliations as of Week 3
With the IFL merger of teams from three different leagues, plus two expansion teams, I'm tracking how well the teams from different leagues do between each other this year. Next year everyone should be more integrated, but this year everyone might not be on the same playing field (so to speak).
former UIFA teams 4-0 vs former CIFL teams former UIFA teams 1-0 vs Expansion teams
former CIFL teams 0-0 vs former Intense teams former CIFL teams 0-0 vs Expansion teams former Intense teams 0-0 vs former UIFA teams former Intense teams 0-0 vs Expansion teams

And from this so far, what have we learned?
League strength compared to other leagues does not guarantee anything. Fort Wayne's worst indoor season was in the (by far) best of the leagues. The CIFL teams moving "up" have all severely regressed off the field. Muskegon, especially, will probably fail now because of the move they made.
Relative competition within a league far outweighs what league a team is in. Hopefully people will start making sense of that sooner than later. And that's not to say the CIFL's all that great, becaues right now it's obviously not. But it's not like the UIF is a godsend here.
