Which matchup do you consider to be the game of the week? Explain your choice.
Since the first thread was accidently deleted, the previous votes will be counted.
Sioux Falls at Wichita had 5 votes I believe. The most any of the other matchups had was 1 vote.

Tough to choose, although I know many like Sioux Falls at Wichita, I like the Saginaw at RiverCity rematch.

I too think the Rage/Sting game is the game of the week. The Sting have made the necessary adjustments to give the Rage all they can handle at the Home Opener this weekend.

Including the exhibition game, the Odessa Roughnecks and Abilene Ruff Riders will play each other a total if five times this season, creating a good old fasioned west Texas football rivalry. Anytime these two teams meet on the field will be the game of the week in my book.

I think playing each other five times in one season is just too many. This new league is big enough that there shouldn't be a need to play anyone that often. Then again, maybe I don't understand Texas rivalries. I've never really been a fan of anything from Texas.
My vote goes to Omaha - Billings. I don't expect the Wichita home opener to be that close of a game, but probably closer than last year.

From a front office point of view they prefer the less travel. From a coaches point of view it's easier to game plan for a repetitious foe. I think it's more about travel than overusing the rival scheme. Oh yeah, almost forgot - HOOK EM BABY ! ;D

Sioux Falls makes it 4 for 4 as far as being in the game of the week. This time they head down to Wichita to take on the Wild which should be another good game. Good luck to both teams.
