Wow, great kick, 43 yards.

McHue returns kickoff to Rochester 18 yard line, 1st and 10 Muskegon. Frazier pitch to 16 yard line, 2nd and 8. False start on Thunder, 2nd and 13 at Raider 23. Pass in flat to Gills goes to 16, 3rd and 8. Ferguson passes to wide open receiver at 8 who takes it to the 5, 1st and goal. Time out, Rod Miller disgusted by calling it, but he saw confusion so he had no choice. Pass to end zone hits goal post, intended for Gills, incomplete, 2nd and goal. Sacked at 7, 3rd and goal. Muskegon is burning a lot of time off the clock, they need to get a move on, this drive is waaaay tooo time consuming. Pass incomplete in end zone, 4th down. Field goal is Good.
Rochester 36, Muskegon 22 with 6:44 left.
Head coach opted for 3 to make it two score difference again, but going for TD probably would've been better option for trying to win the game.

Squib kick...wow...looked to be onside kick...but didn't hit anyone, and bounced all the way to within the 5 of the Raiders and the Raider couldn't get a handle on it and it goes into the end zone and the Thunder get it...WOW. Touchdown. PAT is good.
Rochester 36, Muskegon 29 with 6:21 left in game.

Carter was the Raider that couldn't get a handle on it and I think Horn was the Muskegon player that recovered it for TD.

Porter takes return 10 to 16, Raiders 1st and 10. Porter rush to Muskegon 17, 1st and 10. Handoff to Porter goes nowhere, tackled in backfield by Brown back at 20, 2nd and 13. Baker pass to Mager at 10, 3rd and 3. Handoff to Porter for no gain on the left side, 4th down. Raiders going for it on 4th down...interesting, kicker has been kicking good, why not make it a 10 point lead? Time out Raiders. Now Raiders going for Field Goal, they changed their mind. Field goal is Good.
Rochester 39, Muskegon 29 with 2:15 left in game.

Kickoff bounces on field and hops out of end zone, Muskegon 1st and 10 on own 5. Pass in flat to Frazier to 13, but doesn't get out of bounds, so clock will go to 90 second warning.

Under pressure...and sacked, back at the 10. Second sack of night by Buck. 3rd and 5 at own 10, Muskegon. Desperation time. Pass to Gills who takes it to 17 of Raiders and gets out of bounds, 1st and 10. 1:13 left in game. Pass to 3 yard line intercepted by Colley, intended for Gills.

Baker takes three knees. 4th down at own 2. Time out Raiders, 18 seconds left. Kick goes into stands at Muskegon 20, Muskegon takes over. Pass to Frazier in flat to Raider 13, 8 seconds left. Ferguson scrambles, takes off to right side and gets slammed helmet to helmet. Game over. A lot better score than the last matchup between them in Rochester that ended 71-3.
FINAL Rochester (2-2) 39 Muskegon (0-5) 29
Both of Rochester's wins against Muskegon, but this one a lot closer than the one at the Raider's house. If Muskegon can keep making the strides they made this week, then perhaps they'll give a lot of teams a scare.

I feel bad for Musky They kind of pulled a Wichita Wild. Not expecting all the tallent that is on these teams. But they are getting better faster than Wichita did.

Good showing by Muskegon. But they've already lost their fan base. Good luck getting it back.
Maybe Maryland will be able to break the jinx of "'better' league, half the fans" that the IFL has brought these four teams.

I talked to a few people up in Muskegon, and it appears the coach they hired new this year was simply a very very bad fit. What we saw outta the Thunder last night was a lot closer to the Muskegon Thunder I've seen for two years.
Still not a good team, but at least not an embarrassment.
