PS - Was #18 the same Kenny Wilson that was a real highly regarded prospect out of JUCO and played sparingly at Nebraska a few years back? That dude had to have put on 70-80 pounds since his sporatic playing days. To his credit, he used it pretty well, but still. Man.

Apparently you have never seen Coach Riggs on the sideline before. JD is just passionate.
However the 2 pt conversion that the Bandits got a penalty for, 1 there was no one illegally down field, and 2 the ref didn't throw the flag until he listened to the Beef coach complain. Also during the Malay the Beef coaches lost there sideline privileges, not SCs, I guess SCs coach's were trying to break up the fight, not start more.
I only named the instances when the Bandits benefited from the refs, I sometimes think we would be better without refs and just using the honor system.

Oh, I think I even mentioned it in my post, there was plenty of reason to be complaining about the refs last night. Not only were there some brutal calls that helped and hindered both teams, but they were taking forever to get things sorted out. I remember a play vividly on 3rd down that Omaha had two flags thrown against them. One was holding or a block in the back on one of the offensive linemen, and one was intentional grounding. Easy solution, right? Decline the hold and accept the intentional grounding, which is a loss of down and makes it 4th. Well, they eventually got there, but I swear it took atleast 5 minutes to do so. No reason for that.

what about the horsecollar tackle on SC's final 4th down?
That was so blatant I couldn't believe the ref didn't throw the flag.
