Agreed. I've never had problems with the SC fans. Then again, I normally don't sit with the Storm "bus" fans. I'm always there with my family and I don't drink at games. Both of which probably contribute to the civility between myself and the others around me. The rules I set for myself and my kids: cheer loud for your team, don't swear(my wife imposed this one a few years ago), raze the other team a little bit and if the other team scores, don't get pi$$ed. Shrug your shoulders, smile at the good natured abuse you're taking from the fans around you and move on. I pretty much just cheer for the Storm, but in the 2nd half, when Jensen's play began spiraling out of control, I started yelling "WAY TO GO SCOTT" after just about every one of his plays. Some people around me were getting annoyed, but such is life. I also yelled for relish to put ketchup into the wall going into turn #2 and he DID IT!!!

I need to sit BNDC next to me in Wichita the next time I'm down there, so I watch him react to the 9 year old, his mom and auntie that step to him threatening his life... that ought to be world class entertainment.
All I can say to the whole situation is really? I'm not trying to pretend I'm better than anyone else, but you guys know I call out stupid when I see it, or publicly posted on a message board. Now, having said all of that, I don't know what the Storm fan was saying... If he was verbally abusing BNDC, or running the Bandits down I'm at least willing to shake my head with no further comment.
We've got the Bandits, once.. probably twice more unless they implode. I'll reprise my earlier comments and welcome any Bandit fans to "my" tailgate... (BNDC, keep the matches at home)

I also yelled for relish to put ketchup into the wall going into turn #2 and he DID IT!!! I feel a bit bad... as the kickoff following Crable's pick 6 sailed towards Hall, I yelled right at him, from the front row of the endzone, "what ever you do Leon, don't drop the ball..." oops..

Basically BT, I have only been in one fight my whole life, and it was because a guy wouldn't quit calling me a name, so I hit him once and he never had **** to say again.
That night I had just been sick of hearing "cheater" "incomplete" and the other crap you guys bring into our arena. So when we fumbled and someone starts in on me and my business, instead of ignoring it like I do with any other situation in my life, I decided I was going to have fun with him.
I never had any intention of hitting him, just wanted to put a scare in him and shut him up. I did so and left the arena. The next time it happens I can all but guarantee I will ignore it. Kinda of a once in a lifetime thing for me.
As far as women and children, well as much as I hate to say it, I think calling security is your best option there.

I don't really know if he droped the ball or if it just bounced off him, but it sure ended up where there was only Storm players.

I hear what you're sayin BNDC, I'm lucky in that respect to be insulated from outside fans in Sioux Falls, and segregated from the field due to petty bickering and an ancient arena.
Like I said, I'm not better than anyone else, and had the roles been reversed, I'm not sure how I would have reacted.
As for the women and children.. we politely invited them to Sioux Falls for some "in kind" hazing and left.. although we did observe basic security precautions while leaving the arena and checked the vehicles for key marks.

Both times, the kisk was short and he had to sprint out of the endzone to get to it, catching both on the run.

If we're being completely honest, on the Jensen fumble, when Burrell lost his cool, I turned around and shouted at Bob Scott (who was sitting at the table directly behind me) something along the lines of "That's why Allen Burrell is no longer a member of the Storm...he's a punk!!!) In retrospect, that probably was uncalled for

That's why Allen Burrell is no longer a member of the Storm...he's a punk!!! Unfortunately, that shoe fits him rather well.

Lucky bastard, you never have to go thru the frustration of having season tix next to people who dont like to cheer for there team.
BNDC : "GO Bandits. Get this 4th down stop whooooooo" Dude behind me: "Sit down." B: "Hey I am cheering for my team." D: "I didnt pay to see you stand up."
I really would like to punch that guy.

IF I go up there I plan on burning your arena down. That will 1 get your city to build a new arena, and 2 make it so the Storm don't have a team and therefore cannot beat us. The streak will end one way or another. Don't worry there is a more likely option. Your first option is probably 20 years away as our City leaders can't figure out what they really want, where they want it, and how to finance it. Your second option had it's best chance last year but it still didn't work out for you. A third option is that Bob Scott gets tired of paying for one of the best teams at losing games. The forth, and I think most likely, the bandits move to a league where they actually can win more than a couple of games here and there. Look at Wyoming they love to end the season in 2nd place as they get beat by a better team each year with only a couple of losses for the entire season. ;D

Then who would SF and SC fans have to argue with?
