How would it have been his fault? I mean surely it didn't help, but they had every opportunity to field a team. Used turf would have reduced their expenditures by 50% to get back on track.
I don't know if it made the replay version, but live after the camera went off, they left the Mic on.. "I'm on the Storm...Holy Crap" The feeling is mutual Chris.

It's not his fault. It's totally the owner's decision. If the tornado hadn't hit their facility though, I think they'd still be playing so you can blame the tornado as well. My thing is that money wasn't an issue right before the playoffs, because they knew they had a great shot to repeat. Threepeating is hard though and Parnell just didn't want to start over...blaming the county commissioners was just his scapegoat. If they had caved, I would've like to see what he would've done then...find some other reason, like the schedule couldn't be done in time (which is bs...we see how long that's taking).

I didn't know he was being blamed.

I didn't know he was being blamed. They asked him about it, I thought it was weird too.

The only surprise here to me is that he did not go to the AFL. No offers?
I thought that's where he wanted to end up, but maybe I'm wrong here.
Great player, always a pleasure to see him when Billings came to play the Ice.

Great player, always a pleasure to see him when Billings came to play the Ice. He was looking at a few AFL teams and originally had a selective list of IFL teams (which was narrowed down to four recently) in which he wanted to move to (can't recall, but I think CFL was even being looked at). He never out and out said he was tired of Billings, but that he just wanted to see what else was out there (which to me means either higher profile, higher paying, or both).

well if you can't beat em, buy em... Allegedly. Hard to imagine the legal IFL perks would've been better than what he got in Billings (where they had the best minor league practice facility EVER, their own players hotel, a job with the plex, etc, etc), so... it had to be for the falls or to force Bryant into retirement (kidding, but it is happening).

The AFL couldn't afford him.

I will hate to see Bryant go. I hope it is a happy break. Maybe a position coach? As for Dixon I know he is a good qb and should perform well. I hope we get a good fit with him and the rest of the team as well as good fan support.

Carr was asked if the Fever had any interest in signing Dixon. "Absolutely not," she said. "How can I put this nicely? If Chris Dixon would be willing to come to the Tri-Cities for the salary that we legally pay our players, and willing to live in the same housing we have for our players, then yes, we'd welcome him."

We've all read the quote by now..., just wait the "spending" spree isn't over just yet....
what do we know about TC's housing? hotel room? Most Storm players get apartments, for a guy taking care of his kids, i'd say that's a huge deal

Yup, I don't look forward to all the hate post the Storm are gonna get over Dixon and any other new signings will bring on. "The Storm is buying a championship", etc. Just remember, the Storm won the first couple of championships with a lot of local no name talent that worked well together. The Storm has just reached the point where some of the players are ready to move on. The team is going to need replacements for a few guys and your not doing your job if you don't recruit the best players you can. It is about winning...

So what you're saying is, whether they cheat or not, as long as they win, it's ok? Well, glad we know where your moral compass is.

We can speculate on an internet message board, but until someone shows me that XYZ is being done, AND IS against IFL guidelines, we're exactly where we've always been. We can't prove or disprove the cheating, ergo, winning fills seats.
