Part of what we are seeing are the effects of Billings and Souix City not being in the IFL anymore.
Not a total surprise here that this affected the scheduling.
Get to see a lot of new teams come play the Ice.
Heck, the Ice might even win a few games this year.

ok, need to clarify... not MY seats, but seats for family that come in from an hour and a half away to tailgate and go to the game. hard for them to take 6 hours for a game some nights.

Overall I am happy with the Spartans schedule. The home games are more spread out this year (not 5 in April like last year), and only one game that isn't on a Friday or Saturday night (St. Patricks day, Thursday). Our home games are now 7:00 instead of 7:30, and they are doing the "Kickoff Classic" game in La Crosse a week before the season gets fully going. This is kinda like the Thursday night NFL kickoff they do every year. I was surprised to see Lehigh Vally coming to town twice, and playing at Richmond twice (since these teams are not in the division), but hopefully that is a good thing.

This looks like a specific arena date availability issue to me. oh, to be sure the Storm suckles hind teet to the NBA D-League and a USHL junior hockey teams.. it's just never been this bad before.

We have the same problem here.
The Eagles hockey reserves all the dates way in advance including the playoffs. Then if they don't make the playoffs the football schedule s already set in stone and makes it hard to switch to Saturdays even though they become available... at the last minute.
The Ice get sloppy seconds.
I see the Ice are playing 3 Sunday home games this year.

I think the Storm schedule is better in that we don't play the same stupid teams 3 times each, but the bye weeks are stupid . I understande scheduling, but maybe the handfull of roundball fans and the hockey fans could take it in the rear once. I know they don't sell out the arena. Roundball could pick up a game or two in a smaller venue that will still hold all the stupid rounball fans they can draw, and hockey can play a game or two outside on the stupis ice like it should be!

Nothing's ever perfect. They wanted bigger blowouts during their 40 game winning streak...lol.

I just don't understand why you take a crap on the sport that has the biggest draw.
