if these plugins don't get fixed I can no longer bear the slowdowns on this forum! How about now?...i moved the plugins. Proboards say there may still be intermittent server issues, but I think moving those plugins should help. Let me know. I got a fast system, so I need feedback from those affected since I haven't noticed anything...plus I use Firefox 4 and Adblock Plus which speeds everything up.

That is much better. I normaly think of my computer as fairly quick, but that was killin me! I re-watched the game today. Even in slow motion those kick calls in that game were out of the twilight zone! Parker put one right down the pipe, ruled bad. Missed one right, ruled good. Also one for the Beef that was wide left ruled good. I also would like to see a little more eveness applied to the rule on catching the ball of the board. I have seen that call goes both ways in the last two games. Overall I think the officiating is better this year though. By the way, is it normal to bring in a ref from the city of one of the teams playing? I would think the league would bring in neutral city refs.. Thats got to be rough on the ref trying to make even calls. (Not saying he did poorly..)

Another plug for Firefox 4 and Adblock Plus seems appropriate here. It really will speed your internet up. I'm also moving affiliates (and the scoretrak scoreboards found under SCOREBOARD) to their own sub-board as well. That should speed things up even more. My avatar was also part of the problem (too big an image size...sorry...I went back to my original avatar and will cut out the fancy one's I change to week in and week out). Thanks to Micah for identifying which things were causing the most lag with some special software. As far as the kicks, I gave up trying to decide if they were good or not by eye in that arena a long time ago (I just watch the ref's hand signals now). Unless you are facing or are behind the goal posts, the angles don't give a good enough of a view. If the ref's under the posts and the one on the field watching call it good or bad, it's good enough for me. I stopped sweating that small stuff ages ago. If it was the NFL where you have a goal post camera and can see it in minute detail, then that'd be different. The B2 camera angles don't show any good views (but at least Sioux Falls had three video camera views to switch back and forth on...liked that).
