Arizona Adrenaline 54, Bricktown Brawlers 6 (FINAL)
Arizona gets it's first win of the year! Bricktown's players were let go this week by the owner however, in an effort to save money (they'll probably fold after the season). Semi-pro players wore the Bricktown jerseys, but I still haven't found out what semi-pro team the players came from.

I hate the lying and blowing of smoke by the teams and the Commish. Just say it for what it is. It was not the Brawlers, but a semi-pro team...a team that people in the Arizona org had ties to. All parties knew what this was before the week, so stop blowing smoke. I don't like teams folding, but I prefer it over this ridiculousness. The better way to do it would be to fold the Brawlers, give a forfeit win to Arizona, and schedule an exhibition game against whoever to fill in the home date...at least that doesn't involve lying. An even better way to do business would be to not let in ownership groups without the proper funds into the league to begin with. Adopting the arena procedures of making teams pay the league in advance for players pay to ensure players were always paid, would also make moot the point of releasing players you can't afford to pay to begin with. In the end though, it always comes back to the league's failure to bring in proper ownership groups with enough money to complete a season when things go bad and to enforce those groups to pay ahead to and have money secured for situations just like this.pvtrib.com/main.asp?SectionID=2&SubSectionID=2&ArticleID=54160&TM=64255.14
