There has to be, although I'm guessing it would be a logistical nightmare. At some point the audio and video is mixed real time for the B2 feed, at least I'm pretty sure it's the scoreboard feed they're sending over the wire, and not the Midco feed. It's just a matter of gathering the recording at the right location, then getting it to the proper location for the P.A.

As I understand they take the instant replay video from one of three cameras depending on the best shot. In order for them to have the audio, it would have to be strung to all three cameras as there is not a mixing board within this system to drop in the audio Pre- or post- video recording.

It made finding opposing team fans that frequent messageboards pretty easy during games, I was kind of hard to miss. It was quite popular with drunk girls wanting to wear it as well for some reason. I would also wear a Tigger costume when the Omaha Beef had their Orange Out games once a year (think I did it 3 times, but don't have a pic handy of that). When co-workers would happen upon me from time to time, they'd be wtfh???, lol.

The cat is not part of the hat, like many people think, it can fit over any hat or head (hat's make it more stable though).

Where did the origional Banana Cat come from? Did you make it or buy it? I had Banana Cat as a nickname once when I was joking around with the class clown (who was an artist) on a class blackboard. I couldn't draw anything, so I attempted to draw a cat and it looked exactly like my icon (except picture white chalk on a blackboard). The class clown nicknamed it banana cat and much laughter ensued. When the internet took off and I needed an E-mail address I remembered Banana Cat and used that, then later used it for messageboards. When the 2005 indoor season kicked off I was going to head down to Lincoln, NE to see a Lincoln Capitol game and meet up with CF4L and FWP before the game as they were also fanatics of the game. On a whim I decided to make the banana cat hat as a joke. As a single parent I had experience with basic sewing and stuff when I had to help my daughter with stuff or make custom pillows for her. So I went to Walmart, got yellow material, stuffing, yellow thread, made the outline, cut out the shape, took it to a tailor shop to sew (was lazy), stuffed it, put in a plastic head band so that it would have strength to stay on a head (got the idea from looking at some of my daughter's Disneyland hats), added eyes and a mouth with green fabric dye, and wala, BC was born. I was only going to wear it for that one game in Lincoln as a joke and then retire it, but new Omaha Beef Head Coach Robert Fuller and GM Terry Ditzler were at that game and saw me. I could tell Fuller was like wtf kind of fans do we have, but Ditzler was giddy and hunted me down after the game for a picture. Since the cat was out of the bag, so to speak, I wore it to a Beef game as well and it got lots of laughs and strange looks, so I thought it was funny and kept it going. Long, boring, dumb story, eh?

Dude, I nearly got all misty... The Banana Cat needs to come out of retirement.. like a traveling internet fan trophy, or something....
and odd Zimmer didn't do his research, but then again he had in multiple articles that we traded Terry for Solo before the season.. sooo yeah..

Just a few interting things I noticed: 1. Sf beat more unique teams to start the season (9) than Lehigh has beat in both the last 2 seasons combined (5). They beat Richmond 3 times and Fariabnks once last year. This year they beat Chicago twice, Reading 3 times and Cedar Rapids once. 2. SF has 4 more wins this season than Lehigh has for both the last 2 seasons combined (10). 3. In the event that SF wins the United Bowl they will have won as many games at home as Lehigh has won total games for the last 2 seasons combined. (10) I dont really have a point to this just interesting I thought.

Right now they probably feel great about being in the playoffs, but after Saturday night they might not feel as great.
