There are only X amount of af2 roster spots.
I wonder how many AFL WR's, QB's, Linemen, LB's, DB's and PK's will try to keep in shape by going out for a spot on an IFL team ?
It could be pretty interesting .
I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

There will be some AFL players going to indoor teams, how many will be interesting.
How about if anyone knows of any, post it in this thread so we can keep track.
I read somewhere that AFL players are still under contract to the their respective AFL teams, so that might make it difficult for some of them to sign with AF2 teams.

IFL's Teams contracting AFL's Players?
I am wondering there's comming the BEST moment to the IFL inauguration. Great players looking for team, and few leagues to compete!Whata coincidence!

I don't think there will be too many that make the move to IFL.

I don't expect many big names, but there will be AFL players signing with indoor teams.

Most will sign with the Storm. They pay the most in the league and have the most "Benefits". They have "Bought" the last 4 championships, hard to imagine they won't make it 5.

^^ that horse is dead sir. I've heard both sides from people that should know. I assure you the Storm, as an origination, didn't pay their players more than the league allows... What the owners do with their personal money is their business. and besides, if it were really possible to buy championships EVERY year, explain the New York Yankee's to me...

Rochester's good at buying talent, too, so that could be fun.

seriously, bandit, im a supporter, but dont as texx said, the horse is dead, no need to break its legs now. The Storm sponsors, boosters as you may call them even if they do pay more, they play as a team, as others do not, and they win, money helps, but consistency wins championships. That would be the explanation of the Yankees as well

without a single shred of evidence to support claims that teams are breaking the rules, I'm not so sure it's a good idea to insist they are. I'm not saying, I'm just saying.

I'm happy players are going somewhere to get film. At least with the IFL they have more credibility than the lower rung CIFL and AIFA.
And if an owner is giving a little but under the table good for them! We all know that extra 2-3K per season is so very harsh.

With very limited exceptions, AFLers looking to play will likely sign with whatever team is closest to where they live in the offseason. If they're able to make the transition to the different rule sets, of course.
Rochester signed three former AFLers as well. Most teams will probably get some of them, those that aren't good enough for the CFL or (if it kicks off) UFL.
