I'm having a pretty cool football night tonight.
Watching UFL action with Hartford at Omaha on my laptop (nice game in the first quarter, I like it a lot).
I was switching back and forth on the tv between a college football game and a CFL football game on NFL Network, but now my tv is on MTV2 and I'm watching replay of the Lingerie Football League game between Dallas at Chicago. The LFL games are just 30 minute highlights, so after it's over I'll switch back to the college game and occasionally tune in to the CFL game. Then at 10pm CST the lastest LFL game comes on and I'll watch that.
Definitely liking Friday Night Football this year...hope this stuff continues...oh yeah.
BTW, did any board members go to the UFL game (of course I don't expect an answer until tomorrow if you're there). I know a lot of Beef fans who went, but not sure if anyone here on the board went.

Holy $^#%, Omaha went for it on 4th and 1 on their own 39. Everyone in the whole stadium knew what the call would be, a hand off to Ahman Green, and sure enough it was and he got stopped at the 38 when the line forgot to block a rusher...lol. That quieted the locals big time. The play should've been a Jeff Garcia QB sneak, but they're going heavy with Green to please the crowd.

it's available on demand as well, watching the 4th quarter now... this after realizing that my cable provider no longer carries HDNET. (boooo)
Looks like we might be able to make the last regular season game in November. Hopefully a playoff sport on the line or something.

So, 1/3rd of the kickers in the UFL have South Dakota connections..
Tayler Melhaaf for Hartford played HS ball up in Aberdeen, and Parker Douglass in Las Vegas went to SoDak St and kicked for the Storm.

Didn't Adam Vinatieri also come from around those parts? Seems to be a kicker development region.

The UFL game tonight also saw a 4th Qtr comeback win, this time the Culpepper-led Sacramento Lions came from behind to beat Head Coach Jay Gruden's Florida Tuskers.
