Generals: We'll be back at War Memorial in 2012

JOHNSTOWN — The Johnstown Generals indoor football team announced today that the franchise will return to the Cambria County War Memorial Arena in 2012.
In their inaugural season in the Ultimate Indoor Football League, the Generals went 6-8 and did not make the playoffs. The Generals did win five of their final seven games, falling one win short of making the post-season.
After the team as eliminated from the playoffs, coach Quenteen Robinson said: “We’re definitely back (for next year). We’re already signed in for three years.”
A release from the team today confirmed that statement.
In the release, the Generals said: “It was an exciting, inaugural season for the new indoor arena football team, the Johnstown Generals. Even though they finished the regular season with a win over the Canton Cougars, their fate, to make it to the playoffs, was sealed when the Huntington Hammers were defeated by the Saginaw Sting. The Johnstown Generals players, coaches, owners and staff would like to thank all of the fans and businesses in the area, who supported the team, and are anxious to announce that they have confirmed their intentions of playing the 2012 season at the Cambria County War Memorial Arena.”
