The AIFA was feeling the pressure of the IFL's courting of their teams and issued a press release ( www.oursportscentral.com/services/releases/?id=3695665) stating that none of the AIFA owners were considering bolting to the new IFL. I guess we'll see over the next few months whether that statement is true or not, but going by past AIFA press releases I don't hold much water in it.

The AIFA put out another press release today referrencing their radio program and the main topic seems to be talking about movements between leagues. They really do seem worried about teams bolting, which leads me to believe where there's smoke there's fire.

"There is no truth (to the rumor)," said Wyoming Cavalry owner Argeri Layton. "I haven't spoken with Chad Dittman (former President of the Intense Football league and a prominent franchise owner in the new Indoor Football League) since we were both in the NIFL. I do not have any idea why he would make a statement in a Fairbanks newspaper that they are going to acquire the Wyoming Cavalry."
I read what was written in the Fairbanks paper, but who ever said that Chad Dittman was taking the lead on this? Food for thought

I love the fact that the AIFA gets out a press release dispelling a rumor in no time flat, but can't get out a player of the week release, a weekly recap or pretty much anything that doesn't have John Morris' name on it.
BTW, hello everybody.

BTW, hello everybody. The AIFA knows they're at risk and is trying to stem the tide, but owners aren't going to admit to a move being in the works until the deal is done. To do otherwise could come back to bite them if the move doesn't happen. I can't wait for the AIFA Radio Show that comes out after teams announce they're moving (if that does happen, and I'm not saying it will, but if it does...I want to hear that spin). Happy Birthday Daytona/Frisco Dan.
