Eighteen people won the “Name the Team” contest in choosing “Rattlers.” More than 540 people registered over the week-long competition. The team colors are navy, red, vegas gold and antique gold. “It fits the area,” Dittman said. “When I was driving to and from Laredo, I already had in mind what we were looking for and what we wanted.”
