Alright, there has been a lot of talk lately with TO's $500k deal in Allen and the usual smack that oppoisng team's fans make. But I am curious as to what guys like Bouncer & BC know about what players like Dixon make & what other teams are doing in this regard. What is the leagues rules and/or guidelines are to player pay.

The league has trouble enforcing the rule. They have little staff, so if they do investigate when something is brought to their attention it's a major thing for them. If something is brought to their attention, the only way they can get proof is if someone who is actually being paid more has the proof and turns the team in. How many times do you think that's going to happen? Pay in cash and there's no trail, it's not hard.
I've heard what some people are making, but I don't want to get into that.

Paying guys more than 200 a game has been going on for every. When I first got into the indoor game back in 2000 its was going on. You can stop it

I do not know how the league has ever come out and elaborated on payroll. Apparently, you can be on the owners payroll and that is ok, provided the commissioner comes in to run your team.
I have had former players and staff from various places tell me it goes on to some extent with every team, and it is not as much as you might think.

People in the NCAA get away with illegal funding (obviously some get caught). No way the IFL can stop a team from giving an incentive to a player.
The real question is does it create an unfair playing field. There are a few teams that don't exist anymore whom I suspect paid players extra. The Billings Outlaws and the Lexington Horsemen.

Every team has given perks of some form or other, even the Bandits (shock, gasp, whatev). There are some that take it to extreme levels though, and we all know who they are.
