He was suspended for violating league policies last year and didn't coach (or did he? ). Adding up last year and this year (thru 7 June 2012) he's 7-19 as a head coach. I'm surprised to see him being re-hired as head coach actually, after two losing seasons, but if they're happy that's all that counts. Most head coaches don't get to have two losing seasons and keep their job though. I like how the article below leaves out a lot of facts as well. His past coaching record below doesn't say that he was an assistant coach at his previous locations and willingly leads you to believe that he helmed those teams and was solely responsible for their success. Pimmel helmed RiverCity and Omaha while he was there (and Pimmel ran the Danger while he was suspended ). I wish him the best in 2013, but not against the Beef (that goes for this coming week as well).

Nebraska Danger Renews Davis' Head Coaching Contract
2012-06-07
Head Coach Mike Davis Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team Owner and President Charlie Bosselman is pleased to announce that Danger Head Coach Mike Davis will continue in his role of Head Coach for the 2013 Danger season.
"We are pleased to re-sign Coach Davis for the 2013 season," comments Bosselman. "His leadership and coaching experience will continue to grow this team and move the Danger forward. We have an awesome fan base to support us and we're excited to have Coach Davis on our staff and excited for the future of the team."
Coach Davis remarks, "I am excited to continue to build the Danger Football organization both on and off the field. The community of Grand Island has the best fans in the league and they deserve one of the best teams in the league to go along with that. I am happy that the Bosselman family sees me as the leader of the franchise going forward."
Born and raised on the East Coast, 2013 will be Davis' third season at the helm with the Danger. He attended Virginia Tech where he played linebacker. After losing in the National Championship game, Davis played 6 years in the arena and indoor leagues before moving into coaching. Davis brings a wealth of knowledge and recruiting experience to the Danger, as he helped build and win an indoor championship in Virginia. Davis took over the River City Rage franchise in 2008, and led them to the championship game. In 2010, he coached the Omaha Beef to a 10-5 record after a 2-4 start.
