Iowa gets back on the winning track after a SHOCKING loss to Mid-Missourit and a close loss to Kansas in Topeka. Blackhawks big, 70-19.
Field level entertainment for Friday night, love it, hope it's actually closer than my prediction so that my attention will be grabbed throughout, but I don't think so. Regardless, I'll be there to support the Blackhawks.

I was told the Mustangs played the Koyotes with somewhere around 15 players. Hopefully they bring a more full squad (not likely though).
Iowa big.

Ugh. Why only 15, because the semi-pro league they belong to ended a few weeks ago and players have moved on? Man, that's why I boycotted going to these semi-pro/pro matchups a few years ago. That and the fact the Blackhawk games conflicted with the Beef games most of the time (which thanks to the new Blackhawks GM that's no longer the case). I'm glad I went to the Mid-Missouri game though, to witness an amazing comeback and probably the biggest semi-pro upset of a pro team ever. Unfortunately it was my team that got upset, but that's the way things go sometimes, ah well...it was still fun. I'll still support the Blackhawks and go to the game and root them on though, I just hate when this kind of thing happens is all...so ridiculous, no...really ridiculous. Ugh.

The game wasn't as close as the final score either. Missouri showed up with 16 total players, probably because their CPFL season ended about a month ago so most of the players have gone on to other things by now. The Blackhawks finished the game getting pretty much everyone on the field I think. It wasn't a pretty game, but it was a game...whatever that means.
It was announced at the game that the APFL Championship Game would be on 25 July in the Mid-America Center (Blackhawks home turf). If I'm around, the only way I can attend is if the Omaha Beef somehow don't get a bye week in the playoffs and lose in the first round of the playoffs and are essentially one and done. I definitely don't want that though, but that's the only way I could attend. I'll probably have to get a copy of the videotape broadcast afterwards.
There were three San Angelo Stampede Express players in the stands watching the game last night, don't know their names. I'll see them again tonight at the Slaughterhouse.
Blackhawks and Koyotes should both finish up 8-2 and Blackhawks have the 2-1 head to head tiebreaker. Hopefully Ralph Adams won't try to pull what he did 3 years ago and have the title game in Topeka regardless of the rules. Only time will tell.
Last night was probably my last live Blackhawks game since their last regular season game is next Saturday and I'll be in Sioux City.
Good luck Blackhawks, bring home the title this year.

Blackhawks finish 8-1 in APFL play...not that it matters we are 8-2 overall, we still hold head-to-head. you're right BC, it wasn't as close as the score would show. and you should skip the Beef playoff game

I love the Blackhawks, but Beef were first. Have to be loyal, since I'm about on par with a dog anyway.
