my question comes in that if it was an administrative error/issue why are the Storm being limited on the number of players they can suit up?
I can understand a fine, maybe even some wins overturned (probably not), but I don't think they should be hampered on field like that.
That is just plain wrong.

Like I said you most likely have to know the WHOLE STORY.

The whole deal speaks to some league level mis-management, to be sure but can you blame the other teams for trying to gain a copetitive advantage over the best team in the league...
my question is when do the playoff tie-breakers get "made up" if the Storm, Beef, Wild, and eXtreme all end with the same record since there is no head to head against OMA and BLO since there were 4 losses in the 2 games

Hmmmm, interesting development. With all the heat the IFL is getting, you'd think they would be the first one to leak the 'rest' of this story???

A punishment is something that will make sure the crime does not happen again.

I don't think they should be limited on the field by having one less players available. The wins, eh, I don't like them being taken away either. Yeah, Quad City in the AF2 was heavily punished and banned from the playoffs for a year when they got caught cheating, but the majority of the teams cheat in some fashion or other and if you get caught then you go down. Is this any different?...I don't know. To me it's worse than cheating, it's probably the single most important thing you can do to protect a player. I don't know what an appropriate punishment for that is though, but heavy fines are a great start. Punishing the players I'm not too sure of though. I do know that the Storm players can come back from this though, and I hope they do for their sake. I still want the Beef to knock them off in the playoffs though, don't get me wrong.

That's because you are. The IFL is the NIFL. Why wasn't this addressed before kickoff if it was so important?
A CIFL team I know of has utilized this procedure, and even with a few surgeries they've had to pay for, it's saved them money. It's a calculated risk, and usually with the fees the league is soooo nice to "give a discount on," it'll save money.
If the Storm weren't the only team that did this, everyone better be punished equally and as excessively. Or the IFL will have lost whatever credibility it might still have...

I agree that the league should be involved, but we don't know enough yet to even know if they were or not. They should be, but were they? I do think that once it was found out, which I'm not too clear on how that happened yet, the other teams took advantage of it to penalize the Storm on the field, which I don't too much agree with. LOL, I know right? Since the league hasn't made the rule book available on line, who knows. If it comes to an owner vote, you know the Storm will be in trouble...lol.
