I thought AF2 players "officially" got paid the same as indoor league players, $200-250 per game, so what incentives are they talking about? Go in to effect as soon as he is reinstated by the NFL?

Look, if the NFL lets guys whose actions have killed people (Leonard Little and Donte' Stallworth DUI) play in their league - though Stallworth may not be - letting a guy who killed dogs and illegally gambled really isn't much of a deal.
Though yeah, the whole dogfighting thing is sick...it's a cultural thing, not a sign that Vick's going to be the next Freddy Kreuger. I mean, really...they're dogs. The guy has lost nine figures of net worth. He's been punished far enough. Let him try to earn a spot as an NFL player again.

Gotta disagree with you on that one. I don't think he should be in the NFL again. I think he will be allowed back, but he made a conscious decision to do what he did. Repeatedly. Over a long period of time. But Little and Stallworth DUIs were not repeat incidents. They were accidents - the result of a very, very bad decision, but to me still a different type of issue. Almost more of a character issue. He has been punished according to the law, and he should be allowed to go out and earn a living, but I'm not so sure it should be in the NFL.

I am not surprised by this. Albany is 0-whatever for the season. It was a publicity stunt. The af2 has in its rules that if a team is suspended in the NFL they are also suspended in the deuce as well. Now Quincy Carter who played for Dallas is now a back up QB in Rio Grande Valley.

Isn't Carter the starting QB for Abilene? Yes he is. And if he "keeps it together" through this season, he is first in line for the starting QB spot with the Miami Dolphins, or so I've been told.

Drinking and driving isn't an "accident." They caused the loss of a human life due to their criminal negligence. Vick made the conscious decision to kill dogs. Dogs. Little furry things. If he were killing rats like this, no one would bat an eye. But instead, it's a larger thing that Asians eat all the time. Hell, that's not what the NFL's even pissed about. It's the illegal gambling that has them scared silly (them and the feds; he'd have been long since out of prison had it not been for the illegal gambling ops). And that's a good reason to be really concerned about him in the future (see Rose, Pete). The dogs are just a distractor for the idiot patrol at PETA to get all up in arms about nothing important.
