Especially when it's simply an issue of the league commish losing some money because the Storm have better coverage in-house.
That's allright, this'll be a fun Storm championship run.

That's allright, this'll be a fun Storm championship run. well, it's realy unclear if the st0rm, had coverage or not. Either way, Mr. Crow, would have been on top of it and action would have been taken BEFORE the 1st game of the leagues inaugural season. so it seems like J...ouch ... like J...ooooch...it seems like Josh has been right about some of this stuff all along. There I said it. What a difference a day makes. And yep, this is gonna' be one hellafun SF title run. Mercy.

Sioux Falls should be able to come back from this with the team they have and indeed win another title. Lets face it, they've assembled another great team and have probably the best coach. Still, if anyone was going to knock them off, this is the perfect time as they'll probably be on the road in the playoffs.
The owners took it to vote on the penalties against the Storm, so this isn't Benezio's doing, as some on here think.

Well he is the commissioner, he has to step in at some point, so many penalties, without a complete cause out there, we need more details. And a few people have said that the storm arent the only team doing the same thing, what is the league going to do to them, watch it will be a texas team and the owners will vote not to punish them, just ignorant.

Yes. If some other team is found guilty, it will be interesting to see how the vote goes. I'm for doing the same to any team, even if it happens to be a team I'm a fan of. To me, the players get paid absolutely nothing to be putting their bodies on the line like they do and for the teams not to be carrying insurance when they are supposed to is a disgrace to me. An Odessa player got absolutely leveled last night, what if it had been serious...I don't even want to think about that. OJ Simpson also injured his foot and they thought it might be the ACL, but early indications are that he's fine. What if it was the ACL? First and foremost for me is that the players have to be protected. It's beyond me why they play all out for the pitiance they do, yes I know they love the game and some want to move up, but it's still impressive to me. Besides, leagues should be above the NIFL practices by now and it's extremely disappointing to see they aren't, especially the predominant one.

A motion should be made at the next league meetings to have insurance either go through, or be verified by, the league office to ensure this doesn't happen again. If all the teams banded together and got a blanket coverage for all teams, that'd probably be cheaper anyway.

Yes, Andrew and I both thought he was knocked out for a few seconds. It was a well timed legal hit as well, and if he hadn't hit him it would've been a reception and a big gain. The receivers for Odessa were very impressive last night.
