What's the greatest indoor football game you've ever seen? Why?

Indoor Bowl II - back and forth all night long with DeJuan Goulde's fumble return early in the fourth turning things into OV's favor. Just a great game with easily the best game crowd I've ever been involved with (though Rochester v Port Huron Round 2 in '06 was pretty close in that regard).

Pick any of the United Bowls at random. With honorable mention to the 2008 Western Conference Final.

Lincoln vs Bismarck in like 2002.
Chase Long nails a FG to give the Caps the big victory.

Pick any of the United Bowls at random. With honorable mention to the 2008 Western Conference Final. Hard to argue with any of those, but my all-time favorite game was Sioux Falls vs Rapid City in the 2001 playoffs. My first ever road game. My son (who is now a teenager, god I'm getting old) and I decided spur of the moment to make the trip. Sioux Falls(7-7) was a huge underdog against Rapid City(13-1). A relative who's who of Indoor football/Storm history played in that game. - Mike Aldrich was the head coach of the Storm - Kurtiss Riggs and Ryan Aulenbacher both threw TD passes. - Terrance Bryant played for RC and threw 2 TD passes to Casey Veenhof. - Bobby Perkins had 2 INTs and returned a Kickoff for a TD. - Don Hilsenroth had about a dozen tackles and an INT. - The Storm WR's for that game were Corey Walker, AJ Street, Chad Gomarko and current U of SF head coach Kalen DeBoer (I sat next to his parents at the game). - Shannon Poppinga played CB back then. - Storm coaches Rich Wirkus and Todd Tryon both played. - Dan Maciejczak was RC's center. - Adam Hicks kicked 4 FG's for RC. - I met Bob Laskowski for the 1st time. Last play of the 1st half, RC lined up for a short FG attempt. Hicks was by far the best kicker in the league that year. SF used 3 straight timeouts in an attempt to ice him. By the time they called the 3rd one, the crowd was going absolutely nuts, almost to the point of rioting. Then...Hicks missed the FG and the crowd went dead quiet. SF went on to win 40-25 and advanced to the Western Conference Championship game the next week in Casper Wy, where the refs proceeded to steal the victory away from us and hand it to @#$^$# Rich Fuentes and the Cavalry (but that's another story).

well, it's certainly not the best, but this past week's Kansas Koyotes @ Iowa Blackhawks game was probably top 5 of the games I've ever seen.
lots of action throughout coupled with a dramatic comeback by the home team to seal the deal.
To add to it, the BHs won on a last minute field goal by a kicker who used to kick for the Koyotes (he hit a FG to win the Koyotes a championship against the Blackhawks) and then an INT by the hometown hero.

This past weekend's Blackhawks game is the second best APFL game I've seen. The best APFL game I've ever seen, and ever played, was the APFL Title game when Lakin hit the FG to beat the Blackhawks. That game also featured a great comeback by the Blackhawks in the second half. Then down by 7 points with only seconds left the Blackhawks scored a Touchdown and Coach Wolfe decided to go for two for the win and they got it and all the Blackhawk fans in attendance went wild. Unfortunately there was still a few seconds left and the Koyotes returned it to midfield and Lakin hit the winning field goal as time expired.

Even though I didn't watch it in person (watched it online), I think this year's IFL Title (2010) between Billings and Sioux Falls is the greatest game I've ever seen, not only due to the back and forth nature of it, but when you add in the scope of the best two teams in indoor football history playing each other for a title...it just doesn't get any better than that.
