From GoIFL: As seen on our top ten plays in week two, Oliver Young made an outstanding impact on the game against Wenatchee for Tri-Cities. Young had 4 touchdowns and 8 catches for 145 yards, placing himself in a class above the rest in week three. Defensive Player of the Week: Johnathon Kowalyshan, DL, Chicago Slaughter Johnathon Kowalyshan proved to be trouble for QBs around the league in his performance against the Express. Kowalyshan brought down a very illusive Reading QB 4 times for a sack, and reeled in 4.5 tackles on the night. OL and QBs alike will need to keep a keen eye on this DL when entering Slaughter territory. Special Teams Player of the Week: Chris Medina, DL, Lehigh Valley Steelhawks Medina put on a show in the specials teams genre on Saturday against the Revolution. Medina blocked three kicks in this contest, keeping two extra points and a field goal off of the board. Not only was Medina showing his skills on special teams, he also tallied up a sack, forced fumble, fumble recovery, and 5 tackles.
