. Does the League have a freeze on its teams to not allow any press releases or do anything that may excite the fans about the upcoming season?
Less than two months to go and still virtually nothing is being done to get info to the fans about the teams.
Thought somebody here may have an answer to this most puzzling question.

Nope, and the fact is that the league office can only do so much. These cheapskate owners have to decide for themselves that it's worth the investment in a REAL website, that it's worth the investment in a staff to create content for that website (which can then be peddled out to the media), and that all of these other things help drive the only thing they understand - which is butts in seats. And that's not a problem in just the SIFL - it's across the board.
The really sad truth is that it doesn't take much, assuming you've got a college nearby with a halfway decent Mass Comm or journalism program. One staff person and a couple of interns and you're all set.
Of course, I'd rather have silence than the cluster that came out of the SIFL last week. "We've got Johnson back!" "Uh, no you don't... we just signed him!" I'd expect that kind of crap out of one of the startup teams, but Lake Charles and Lafayette know better. Somebody obviously just doesn't care.

Somebody obviously just doesn't care. All of indoor football's problems summed up in 5 words. Well Done!

. When are folks going to start talking Southern Indoor Football on here? The time is drawing nigh to get some talk going about things around the league.

If the league and teams don't want to talk about it then why should we?
Just sayin'

. Columbus and Greenville are beginning to talk. Not sure about the league, but they have put a few new articles on their site too. Time to start discussing the upcoming seasons between the fans on here to see where we all thinnk things stand with a little over a month to go.

I barely even know the team names at this point. One thing is certain, the bucs are going to win another title and probably two or three more after that.

I would not just hand the championships to the Bucs. The Columbus Lions are a great organization. Greenville sounds good as well. Lafayette has a year under their belt now, which should make the tougher to beat. No. I don't see this as a given like I and others thought last year. And Austin put up a good fight in the championship game.

. Looking at stats and comparing the numbers from the two leagues from last year I think the two former AIFL teams will be able to more than hold their on in this league.
Heck they might even be the Championship Game participants.

Well, am I still nuts? I don't think they are going to win but they got there. Greenville was a massive disapointment and ruined their sketchy "never cancelled a game" claims. Lafayette improved as expected but still lost in the first round. All that remains now is Columbus and if they do blow the title game, I will be repeating my statements for year three.
