The Macon Steel's head coach has taken over the Steel's facebook page and renamed it Macon Irons.
The Steel (owned by Andre White) folded a few weeks ago and their last game was played by a semi-pro team called the Chattanoga Generals (also owned by Andre White I believe) and they will probably play out the remainder of the Steel's road schedule.
Whether the Iron happen in 2013 or not will be a question for next year.

I really got into indoor football last year. After all the crap that happened this year in the different leagues, I am on my way back out and might stick with the AFL
sheesh!

I notice you follow UIFL and AIF. Those two league's, along with the CIFL and APFL, are ran very unprofessionally.
The IFL, PIFL, and LSFL are ran the best of the seven indoor leagues, so if you're looking for a good indoor league those are the one's to follow.
The PIFL and LSFL rules are almost verbatim of the AFL though, so they are indoor league's in name only (same as UIFL and AIF).

Sorry about that. I follow all the leagues and I don't have a team near me either (6+ hours is the closest since I moved). I buy the IFL season pass for $75 so I can watch all the games and I'm happy. The amount I spend for season tickets in Omaha, plus road games and going to other league's games, $75 is getting off really easy so I can't complain at all. I still like having a team close by, but until one comes to Oregon I'm out of luck on that front.

I guess I will check them out next year, I dunno about the $75 thing though, especially when I see all the AFL games for free

I can't watch the AFL. Defenses suck and no running game. If they'd get rid of the two way players and allow for good defense then I might watch it. Until then I'd rather gouge my eyes out than watch easy pitch and catch for three hours.

but it is the best quality of player Only at the QB and WR positions. The IFL still has plenty of great players at that position as well.
