I decided to buy the LFL season pass for $125 (just a little over $6 a game for 20 games). I can also watch past games on demand if for some reason I miss a game. I'll watch Chicago/Miami week 1 game later, right now the San Diego at Seattle game is just getting underway.

San Diego wins the toss and will receive. There are only two kickoffs in the game, one to start the first half and one to start the second half. No quarters, just two 15 minute halfs. Teams do have the option at the end of the game to attempt an onside kick if behind, otherwise teams get the ball where the other team left off if they didn't get a first down, or if they scored then the other team gets the ball to start at the 15. No field goals and no kicks for extra points. If you score a TD, you have the option to go for 1 point from the 2 yard line, or go for 2 points from the 5 yard line. 7 players on each side. The girls are wearing sports tops that look like lingerie bras and sports shorts that look like lingerie panties. They have knee pads, elbow pads, shoulder pads, and lacrosse helmets. They also have frilly uniforms and makeup. There are 12 active players on the rosters and 6 inactive players. 35 second play clock and if it goes to overtime, then it will be 8 minutes total. The team captains seem to be the prettiest girls, while the athletic girls (who are the muscle of the team and probably the best players) aren't showed as much.

San Diego returns kickoff to midfield.
1st and 10 at own 23. Pass low and incomplete. 2nd and 10. Lindsay Blain tackled rush to 24 of Seattle. 3rd and 7. QB in shotgun, scrambles for 2 yards. Delay of game penalty. 4th and 5. Handoff goes nowhere, Blain tackle again.
Seattles first drive starts at midfield. 1st and 10 rush goes all the way to 10 yard line. 1st and goal, whoops, QB dropped ball had to fall on it at 11. 2nd and goal. Rush to 5. 3rd and goal. QB keeper looked to go all the way, but tacklers closed quick and got her down at 1. 4th and goal at 1. QB keeper to right side TD. QB's name is Lindsay, #4. Going for 2 pt conv from 5 yard line. QB Keeper to the left goes to the 2 where she's pushed out of bounds into the wall.
Seattle 6, San Diego 0 with 7:33 in the 1st half.

San Diego starts at own 15. 1st and 10. Pass intercepted by Lindsay Blain, #5 at SD 23 yard line. Blain is all over.
Seattle at 23. 1st and 10. Pass incomplete, dropped. 2nd and 10. Pass in flat to Christie Burns goes for 7 yards, hit by slash. 3rd and 10 rush good for 1st down. 1st and 10 at SD 13 yard line. Time Out. Lots of people in the stands, I estimate 4K, but could be more. QB keeper again goes to 5 yard line. 2nd and 2. Run up the middle goes for 2 yards. 1st and goal at 3. QB keeper for Lindsay Blain (she's all over) up the middle is a bull rush for a TD. Blain's number is actually 15, not 5. 2 point conversion is another QB keeper by Blain to the left and good.
Seattle 14, San Diego 0 with 3 minutes left in 1st Qtr.

1st and 10 San Diego at own 15. Fumbled snap loses two yards, Blain there again (player of game hands down so far). 2nd and 13. QB keeper with an attitude now, determined run by her, down to the Seattle 16. 1st and 10. 2 minute warning. Blain taking breather. Handoff goes to 11. 2nd and 5. San Diego 25 total yards, Seattle 51 so far. Rush to 6, 1st and goal. QB keeper up the middle to the 1. 2nd and goal. Blain back in. Handoff away from Blain, but stuffed at 1 nonetheless. 3rd and goal. Time out SD with 20 seconds left. Some good football, these girls are playing hard. Some good hard tackles. Pitch to right is very close, nope. Stopped at 1. 4th and goal. Clock is showing 0, they ran out of time. Mistake by San Diego in not getting another play off. 1st game mistake there, big time.
San Diego coach saying his players need to start tackling lower, too many arm tackles.
Halftime (lasts 15 minutes). Seattle 14-0.

Seattle coach saying he may go for some deep passes in second half.
Kickoff returned by Seattle to 19 yard line (not a great kick). #4 back at QB. Delay of game. 1st and 15 at 14 yard line. Ball tipped at line, incomplete (almost intercepted). QB keeper to 17. 3rd and 12. Ball knocked out of hands when QB going back to pass, QB collided with RB, and SD recovered.
San Diego 1st and 10 at 17. Handoff up the middle tackled by Blain, gain of 1. 2nd and 9. QB (#8) scramble to right, then cut back to the left all the way to the 5. 1st and goal. Pass to the 3 yard line (first pass of night). 2nd and goal. QB keeper for a TD. Going for 2pt. Give to #6 goes nowhere.
Seattle 14, San Diego 6 with 10:30 left in game.

Seattle starts at 15. QB keeper of the middle to 23, tackled hard. Rush to the 12 yard line by #8. Late hit almost starts a brawl. Pitch, double reverse to 6 yard line. Pass across the middle in the end zone not well thrown, incomplete. 3rd and goal. Pass in right flat dropped by receiver by Rickman. 4th and goal. Flag, false start on #13 of offense. 4th and goal from 12 now. Another false start. 4th and goal from 17 now. Pass broken up at 2 yard line, double coverage had no chance.
San Diego takes over at own 17.

Pass over the middle close but incomplete. Rush goes 5 yards, but Rickman delivers hardest hit of night and crowd goes wild loving it. 3rd and 5. QB keeper for 6 yards. Flag on SD for illegal formation. 3rd and 10. QB for SD has major turf burn on her side. QB rush to left side, tackled at 17. Great tackle in open field. Pass deep, but knocked away...had a chance.
Seattle 1st and 10 at SD 17. Under 3 minutes left. Pass to end zone too far away from receiver. 2nd and 10. Pass to flat good to 14. 3rd and 7. Handoff up the middle to 6, 1st down. 2 minute warning. Blain back at QB rushes to left down to the 2, tough run, dragged a tackler the whole way until another could help. Wow, Blain outmuscles tackler into the end zone up the middle. The tackler met her low and stood her up, but Blain overpowered her. TD. Going for 2. Reverse goes to 4.
Seattle 20, San Diego 6. 1:04 left.

SD keeper from 15 to 23. Time out with 49 seconds left. 2nd and 2. Deep pass (wobbly) almost intercepted, but goes incomplete. 3rd and 2 with 43 seconds left. Another pass deep goes incomplete. 4th and 2 with 35 seconds left. Pass to 23 of Seattle good for 1st down. Clock running. Pass to 17, but inbounds, clock running. Center spiked ball, but that's not allowed, QB has to do that. Time expired.
FINAL San Diego 6 Seattle 20
Good game, good tackles, Seattle looked way tougher. Rushing attacks were good, but it was all done by the QB positions. Passing attacks need major work by both teams. Blain for Seattle is the player of the game, no contest at all.

These girls are leaving with a lot of bruises, feel bad for them but they knew what they were getting into. Most of these girls are college age and play some sort of athletics before joining the league. They are all in shape, no fat on these girls.
San Diego's total yards were 71 (11 passing, 60 rushing), 23 offensive plays, 3 penalties, 6 points. Seattle's total yards were 106 (8 passing, 98 rushing), 25 offensive plays, 3 penalties, 20 points.
Announcers broadcasted the game seriously. They are marketing this as tough football and tonight it was. They may be wearing cute uniforms and showing a lot of skin, but they were hitting hard many times. The rules around the line are kind of lax allowing for a lot of running, but what do you expect. This game has a chance to do good I think and catch on. We'll see. Play should only get better as the season goes on.
MPV is Lindsey Blaine, 5 tackles, 2 TDs. Blaine says football is fun and she loves it.
Katie Rickman, RB, also interviewed, says they kicked SD's ass on the field and that she feels sorry for them. She says football hits are hard, they are beaten and bruised, but having a lot of fun. Rickman looks very cute all sweated up there.
