Which team do you think will win the Atlantic Division in '09?

I picked Bloomington, but Rochester is alternate choice if Bloomington can't successfully replace Burke at QB.

Bloomington, have to replace a few KEY players but i think that will get done and will more then likely end the season with the best record in the IFL.
Rochester, Huge winning streak still in tact but stepping up against the big boys of 8 on 8 football may be a learning curve, but a solid second place here
Maryland, I think they will field a very competitive team and may surprise more then a few as the season goes along, wouldn't surprise me if they ended up in the divisional final
Muskegon, wide eyed and ready to learn . Again learning the 8 on 8 game. maybe a year away from making noise
Saginaw, another 7 on 7 team with a learning curve.
1, Bloomington 2, Rochester 3, Maryland 4, Muskegon 5, Saginaw

bloomington was average without Dusty Burke. replacing him is the key to this whole division. I don't know enough about the former cifl teams and how they'll adapt to having another player on the field.

Yeah, with Bloomington to the Central I'll go with either Rochester or RiverCity depending on their final rosters. So in other words, I'll wait a few months and choose.

Well the Rage do have a somewhat modified roster on the website and there are a lot of changes. It looks like they've raided from the Swashbucklers and Rockford a bit. By my count there are only 4 players back from last year's team and three of them are on the defensive side. It's going to be a different look for the team. But looking at the resumes of some of the new guys it's shaping up to be a strong season.

Yes, they loaded up the former Raptors quite awhile ago. All they need now is Sankey. Who are they leaning toward as far as QB, have you heard?

According to the roster on the website we've got Dixie Wooten on the roster. Says he was with the Giants and Eagles at different points in 2003. He also bounced around the NIFL. I seem to remember him playing for Lacrosse in 2003, the Oklahoma Crude in 2004, the Birmingham Force in 2005 (AF2?), and back to the NIFL in 2006 with the Katy Cooperheads, and Frisco last season. So he's been around which could be good or bad.
Point is though he has alot of experience and that's what we need. Fischer was not getting it done the last two years.

Fischer had his moments, but I agree.
That wide receiver sure was great, can't recall his name just now but he's small and built like a tank and has got amazing speed. I'll check the roster later to get his name since my memory is so bad.

You're thinking of Hurtis Chinn. He's not on the roster anymore. He had a good year last year but not up to his usual standard. Part of that was Fischer not getting him the ball enough. I'm sure Chinn will be popping up somewhere else real soon. When Chinn got his chances he was something else to watch. I know he garnered quite a bit of interest from the Seahawks and Lambs back in 2005. I think he was on the Seahawks practice squad for a while but came back to the Rage. He certainly was a fun guy to watch and he was great with the fans even with fans in other cities. Another change is no more Moses Regular. Regular has played every season of his indoor career in St. Charles dating all the way back to the dark days of the Renegades in 2001. Not sure if he retired or what. If he retired I think his #82 needs to be retired because the guy darn well deserves it.

Chinn, yes. With a good QB he's an all-star, no he's an all star no matter who's throwing. Regular's good too, but Chinn is something else.
