The Rump Roasters (Omaha Beef Male Dance Team) will participate at the Iowa Blackhawks vs Sioux City Bandits this Friday, April 29th, in Council Bluffs.
Tickets in advance are buy 1 get 1 free for $8 (or $4 each). Tickets purchased later at the door are more - approx $12.
Blackhawks are holding a block of 25-30+ tickets for Beef Fans (with cowbells of course) under the name T-Bone. If you are interested in going and sitting with the Beef fans, contact the Iowa Blackhawks Office and let their PR person / Mascot know that you want tickets in the Beef Fan block.

LOL Maybe the Bandits should borrow some fans from Sioux Falls to bring down? Oh wait we have our own fans we don't need to borrow any! LOL

lol, It is kind of odd but Iowa would try to be getting fans of another team in their metro to come cheer them on. So they want Beef fans to go up to Sioux City on Friday for football then come back to Omaha for the IFL game on Saturday night? I'm not sure how I'd feel about that for the rump roasters, if it was cheerleader football it'd be better odds

Indoor football fans in Omaha will recognize the name Bandits and hopefully that brings them across the river! Great move by the BHs PR/marketing staff.

The Hawks also have some former Beef players as well. None the less...great move by their PR staff.

It's not just the Blackhawks doing this, it's also Beef fans and those within the Beef organization themselves. The two teams are only a 10 minute drive from each other and believe it or not there are fans that attend games from both teams. When I lived there until recently I also went to both games when there was no conflict. I have E-mail traffic this week of tons of fans that go to both games encouraging other Beef fans to do the same and support the Blackhawks, who are kind of like a sister org to the Beef as players go back and forth between the teams quite often, including a former GM now. I've managed to get some other Beef fans to come in the past and the Rump Roasters and other Beef faithful have been coming for many years. Lets face it, a lot of fans love indoor football and will go see another team if they are close by. I think it's smart for both organizations to support each other myself, every little bit helps. They are in different leagues, so it's not a matter of taking away support for your main team, it's a matter of strengthening support for both teams.
Go Beef and go Blackhawks!
This also deserves mention from the E-mail's I've been getting on this:
Pick up a voucher at Hy Vee in Council Bluffs and it will get you the buy one get one free deal.
If you're a Beef fan and have never attended a Blackhawks game, definitely go as it is a good time and you will have fun. Especially nice this week is that the opponent is Sioux City, a former Beef opponent, so it will feel like old times and will be nice to check up on how they're doing (and so far this year they're doing a bang up job).

My bad I didnt catch that the game was in CB.
With Omaha fans wanting to support both teams, I can understand that. Do you think the Omaha will also support the blackhawks?

Very few do. I don't know how many they had yesterday, but I wager with the Rumproasters performing they probably had the most ever. I doubt it's over 100 people at most though.

Good showing by the beef fans. Loved the ovation they gave the Bandits when they took the field. Very respectful and classy in my opinion.

That's good. I'm glad we had a great representation from our Beef faithful, always nice to see.
