Which team do you think will win the 2010 APFL Title?

My heart says the Iowa Blackhawks, but it's almost impossible for me not to pick an 0-4 (0-3 in games played) team in the playoffs. How can you not like the fact that you haven't won a league game in the regular season and yet you can still make the playoffs and win it all. Now's a great chance for them to show the real FORCE to the rest of the league and not the games they sandbagged and hid their real talent in. It's playoff time!!!

It's awesome to see the league so competitive this year. Kansas will win the play-in game against JC and then I see them losing to Iowa in the same fashion as last weekend.
Springfield @ Mid-Mo will be a great game and whoever wins that will bring all the BHs what to handle. I'll have to pick Mid-Mo to win these team's third matchup and play Iowa in the finals where Iowa will win their second consecutive championship.
Big ups to the APFL member teams for making this the best year yet. Everything isn't perfect, but things are improving. It's sad to say that other teams in other leagues can't show improvement.

It's a shame the APFL had to cancel a game two weeks ago. They almost (key word: almost) made it through a season without canceling a game. They still have a lot of room for improvement, just like every league.

and what exactly has the APFL done wrong this year anyway?
(if you want to say that last game where Junction City had to have a replacement team due to JC playing in the CPFL championship game, I'll give it to you, but the home date was still filled, no home fans burned...unlike every other league)

You used to make fun of the IFL (UIF) for saying "hey look we played all our games" now you're using the exact same line. Spare us any modicum of APFL superiority, posers need not apply.
And, to be fair the only fans that lost anything were the 35 Alaska wild fans that lost a couple home games.

So you're ok with the Wild canceling their games and folding mid season?
The IFL claims to be the best (and sadly, they are the top indoor league)...but they don't act like it.

Am I ok with it, no not at all, but... it is what it is. My dislike for the IFL's top management isn't exactly a secret.
There is a lot of room for improvement in indoor football, oddly the only league that took the smallest of baby steps forward is the APFL.

A canceled game, is a canceled game, is a canceled game. Is it a better reason for a canceled game, sure I'll give you that, but it's still a canceled game so you can stop harping that no games were canceled, because one was. If you want to get technical too, there were three games during the first three weeks of the season that had APFL teams scheduled against semi-pro teams that were later changed to other semi-pro teams (when the original semi-pro teams couldn't make it). I can give the details if you want. Those are technically canceled games, but since they were fodder games who cares, but the fact they have fodder games to begin with is enough to tarnish anything. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's the details on the 12 June canceled game: The offficial APFL website had the schedule for the season listed here: www.apflfootball.com/schedule.htm The 12 June 2010 game between league teams Junction City Force at the Springfield Wolfpack was cancelled and Junction City awarded a forfeit loss and Springfield awarded a forfeit win. Springfield filled their home date with a semi-pro replacement team named the Springfield Lightning and Junction City (who is also part of another league, the CPFL) played the Missouri Mustangs on that date instead of the APFL scheduled game (bad scheduling still results in a canceled game). Source for the Springfield cancelled game and forfeit win was the official Springfield Wolfpack website: www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/default.asp?u=WOLFPACKINDOORFOOTBALL&t=c&s=football&p=scheduleand here: www.hometeamsonline.com/teams/default.asp?u=WOLFPACKINDOORFOOTBALL&t=c&s=football&p=boxscore&gameID=206468Score Board REGULAR SEASON 1 2 3 4 F Junction City Force - Forfeit 0 0 0 0 0 Springfield WolfPack - WIN 0 0 0 0 2 Source for Junction City cancelled game was their official website (where you can see they played the Missouri Mustangs instead: www.cpflfootball.com/junctioncityforce/schedule.php

No one I know likes what happened with the Wild, unless you know someone I don't that does. This site is the premier discussion site of the indoor football world however, a claim that cannot be disputed. It is true that the IFL is the top indoor league, but there is a lot they need to improve on and there are many threads in this forum on that subject. This thread is about the APFL though.

Hawkeye did say he got the RealIFF domain after he lost the first domain, but I don't think he got the word out very well.
