We Won!!!!!!
54-47
I may be bias........no, I am bias. LOL
But.....The Renegades look ALOT better tonight. I still think this is a team that will get better as the season goes on. There is quite a bit of talent there, I just think they just need to get a little more experience. At the beginning of tonight's game we looked out classed, but then slowly the tide began to turn. By half time it was clear we had control of the game. It was not going to be a case of winning or getting beat, it was a case of if we were going to win the game or we were going to lose the game. Our mistakes, like two muffed hikes to the QB in a row (the 2nd recovered by the Defenders), is what kept the Defenders in the game.
You could see Giles, Solomon, Simpson, and company become more confident as the game went on. Dare I say that a monster has been unleashed? LOL. Or at least I hope it has.

I've been saying it for the past month that you can't sleep on KC just yet. The offense could be really good. Granted I don't think the defenders are one of the best defenses in the league but I think its a good confidence builder for them. Could be the start of some wins down there.

Teams in the cpifl will look a lot different in the second half of the season. I predict a lower seed getting hot and winning the title.

First CPIFL Championship will be won by either Omaha, Sioux City, or Wichita. KC has a good shot of making it to the playoffs though.

Next week against The Wild will be a big indicator of Kansas City's future? Personally I do not think we are ready for The Wild yet, but if we get to play them again latter, maybe in the play-offs. My prediction is that in three weeks The Renegades will be 3-3. One loss too Wichita, and a win against Topeka and The Outlaws.

I know Renegade nation think they have a contender but in my eye's one win to a none contender really doesn't make me jump on their bandwagon. They are a good team and will maybe be the bottom seed in the play-offs and will probably upset someone, however I'm not that impressed and until they win against a top tier team consistently they will still be just another team.

Agreed, while I continuously say nice things about the renegades I do believe they are a far from being complete. Their the best of the worst... if that makes sense. Sioux city and Omaha picked apart Giles and that offense. Turned it over like 8 times between those two games.

I agree that the Renegades are not on the same level as the top teams right now. But I can tell you that the team looked 10 times better than the first week. So, who knows by the end of the season. Giles is still a weak point, but Simpson and Solomon are doing a much better job of making him look good. Solomon is a beast on the jump ball. Another point to make, attendance was up at Saturday game, and the fans were starting to get a little louder. I wish I could find official stats. The guy in the seat behind me and I had the first game guessed at 2,000 and the second 2,500 maybe 3,000. It is hard to tell, Kemper is pretty big. I wish I could find some attendance numbers for the games. Anyway, here is to hoping the winning trend and the attendance trend continues. If that place ever gets as loud as it was for the Brigade that first year......oh my, I feel sorry for who ever they play, top tier or bottom. LOL

I am glad when SC plays the Wild, it is in SC.
How many teams get in playoffs, 6 or 4? Hopefully not 8.

"The CPIFL playoffs will consist of the teams with the top four records with the inaugural championship game taking place sometime on the weekend of June 21-23." And here are my homer predictions. Semi-Finals Renegades over Wild Bandits over Beef Championship Renegades over Bandits. Nope, I am not Bias as all

LOL The team will get better just as soon as you stop using Giles at QB!! The team is good and will gel and get better but will never get over hump with Giles leading the charge. I really hope fans get on board and your team gets up over 3,500+ in coming weeks. Oh and you are very biased about your team

We are all biased about our teams, that's what makes this so much fun! And sometimes the stats people note the attendance but didn't for that game. Don't you just frigging love this sport???
