Omaha don't got the horses to do it in the MetroPark.

Omaha played pretty well for the majority of the game. More redzone struggles (two times inside the 5 yardline with 0 points to show for it) and a few more big plays that killed momentum (8 plays of 20+ yards in 3 games).
All that said, that's a really good Billings team in a very tough place to play. If Omaha plays like that all season they will win a lot of football games.
I said coming into this brutal roadtrip that they can steal one of three and be in pretty good shape at 2-2 with a 6/4 H/R split coming home. Need to go to Texas next week ready to play. I think it's a break for Omaha that Alb will have that Monday/Saturday short turnaround after playing their first regular season game of the year.
Adding OJ to the three starters (Bell, Jones, Burrell) who are all playing fantastic football is going to be a treat to watch. It's going to be hard for McNear to keep all the offensive talent happy.

I finally got my home projector screen up, and the projector as well (although that only took a minute). I mounted two hooks in the ceiling to support the projector screen and watched the Beef game on it via B2 Networks at home...awesome indeed. Any road game I can't make I'll be viewing like this...and matchups between other teams as well...yeehaw.
The Beef played great in the first quarter shutting out the Outlaws, but after that the Outlaws took control. The Beef stayed close until the final minute, but just couldn't stop Billings when it mattered most and couldn't score in key situations when they needed to.
It sure was great watching the game on a big screen at home, except for the part where the Beef lost.

Yeah, I think the key to the game was that Omaha missed on a few opportunities to gain some seperation early when Dixon was struggling; started 0 for 6 and finished 17 for his last 19.
And that little RB out of Temple (Timothy Brown) is just sick.

Great announcing by you as well. I also bought some new computer speakers with a woofer for use with my projector and wow, made a big difference. You got pretty excited a few times and it came across loud and clear. By the way, you need a catch phrase for scoring plays...but just make it nothing like "Holy Help Me Hannah"...ugh.

I was impressed Omaha kept it close. I should probably take a trip up I-80 and stop before I get to the Mid-America Center sometime.
