In this so far poor excuse for a league we now find ourselves in I wonder what peoples thoughts are on the poll posted on the IFL website. Are the Sioux Falls Storm, the defending champion, expected to do so poorly that they are not in contention for number one offense in any way? Not even an option? I realize this new league is a fairly broad stroke across the country, but to give the reigning champs no recognition in the poll or even mention on the website news flashes is rather weak.

That is a very weird poll, I definitely agree. The teams chosen are an eclectic bunch and some of the teams most would expect to be offensive powers, such as Sioux Falls and Rochester, are absent. It's also disappointing that the website hasn't been moved to www.goifl.com yet. I can somewhat understand using the old site as a working developmental site to get going, but the site really needs to be migrated to goifl now. It's not that hard, so I'm not sure what the issue is, but whatever it is it needs to be fixed.

Well to be honest Sioux Falls is more known for their defense special teams and timely offense. Just because they line up in gun doesn't mean they cant pound the rock and eat clock. they put up points because of turn overs and great field position. That being said though they do have an efficient O, but prolific ..... I think not
