Pretty telling that both the league and the teams are not saying a word about this ownership change in Lincoln, despite confirmation from both teams. This owner couldn't even run one team last year, still owes coaches, staff and vendors from last season money. Now he is controlling two teams in a nine team league and you pretty much have to question the integrity of every move that either team makes, as the two teams are working together. CPIFL is quickly becoming a joke if this is how they are going to do business.

A source of mine in Lincoln says that Lincoln is undergoing an ownership change and the new ownership consists of the Omaha Beef ownership... Doesn't make a lot of sense, but I trust my guy in Lincoln.

I think Banana Cat is right. I'm hearing that ownership apparently will be bringing Tommie Frazier in to run things in the front office. That should definitely lead the Beef in a new direction...

That's what I am hearing from some friends close to the Beef.

Rosters being incorrect wouldn't surprise me. From what I have been hearing out of Omaha, it sounds like the Beef operations are kind of a cluster under the new ownership group.

Well then, until they put it to rest with an official statement, where there is smoke, there is fire...

This is easy for the league to fix. Make a statement with playoff scenarios. Omaha wins, they are in. If they lose, layout the tiebreakers in advance. Otherwise, I'll assume the rumors are true.
