How many more teams will leave the IFL before the 2009 season begins.

my opinion 2-3, but lets be honest, i think everyone seen this coming, mabey not with the Louisiana, but at least a couple teams to back out, or not be able to come up with funding etc, im more interested to see how the league itself handles the situation more than anything.

I think at least a few more from Texas, but I also still think that there's a chance that things don't work out with the Washington teams either. This season or next.

I don't like the parenthetical reference, but I think we're going to see another half-dozen teams bolt from the IFL before it's all said and done.
Just not all from Texas. And I'd guess it won't all be for the SIFL.

I think it's clear the IFL will lose AT LEAST two or three more Texas teams, but I wouldn't be surprised to see either (or both) of the Washington teams, and any number of teams from out east.
I don't think expansion was thought out well enough. Sound familiar NIFL fans?

I have no idea how many will leave, the bigger issue for me was having to re-read exit's "parenthetical" to get it right. . . I'm runnin' on empty, 5 o'clock won't get here fast enough today.

The whole thing is starting to smell awfully familiar.
my guess is up to half of the non Allegiance teams find an excuse not to play along with the IFL's reindeer games.
The sad reality it that the owners forgot (yet again) about WHO they're working for. US. The fans. The started thinking with their wallets again and once again the fans will be the ones that'll suffer. When does the madness stop. when will the ego's and personal agendas get put aside for the betterment of the whole? Hell it's practically an indictment of today's society as a whole rather than just indoor football. We've become a me first group of people.
Let's also not overlook the trouble the tough economic times might be having on the less wealthy ownership groups too. If the teams required credit to perform the season long tasks, credit is, or can be tough to come by these days. I'd rather see the truth just be admitted outright than attempts to slander other ownership groups, but regardless. Times might be tough on those groups that needed the credit to get the season started.

Who proposed adding teams from the east and west coasts? Do they ever discuss the negative side to having teams spread so thin? Do they not care enough about the league as a whole to say no? Are they afraid if they don't get the teams NOW, they never will? Anyway, is does smell way to familiar. Hopefully the results are better than the last IFL merger.

The correct answer was 2 more (although only one was from Texas).
- CenTex Barracudas - Lehigh Valley Outlawz

I don't think it's done yet, Dave. So what kind of info are you getting Exit? Lets see, from what I gather there are three teams already out. Louisiana Swashbucklers CenTex Barracudas Lehigh Valley Outlawz Now I'm hearing the Michigan teams are out. Muskegon Thunder Saginaw Sting And for the big surprise . . . Bloomington Now this is just a dream scenario for a travelin' roadie like myself, but wouldn't it be great if a league had two teams in Wisconsin, 3 in Illinois, 3 in Michigan and two more in Ohio and you lived in Indiana? So what's up people . . . is any of this true?

I've heard nothing on the Michigan teams or Bloomington being out of the IFL. The former two wouldn't surprise me, but Bloomington would.

Bringing in an eastern presence was done to help Bloomington, as adding a western division was for the Alaska teams.
IF, and i have not heard that the Mich teams were leaving, but IF they were, that would leave Rochester and Bloomington on an island, and that couldn't be good
