T-Bone quit following the sport, Hawkeye is a resident of Iowa and focuses more on the Blackhawks when he does go to games nowadays, and CBlack is Jerry Hewitt (who was masquerading as a Storm fan for some reason). Facebook and other social media sites have kind of taken away messageboard traffic as well. The chat box on this site also seems to attract most of the smack talk as well (I thought about putting chat transcripts in here, but it's too much work). Here, this should start something: Storm are a bunch of cheaters and will get their @$$ handed to them this weekend.

Best part of the entire game was that TB and Dixon have at least thawed the ice a bit, as I saw them several times discussing the game... good to see. Omaha's season ends at Sioux Falls again..

Ha, was just trying to start something on the last part to get the thread going.
Good game for the Storm, as expected.
Beef were in it for most of the game at least and to date are the only one's to really give the all-stars trouble. I don't like consolation prizes, but it's better than what the Bricktown fans are getting.
Yeah, Cblack is actually Jerry Hewitt, who has stopped using that alias for the most part.
The crowd was very loud to start off with and also on certain plays. I also heard a lot of cowbells when the Storm had the ball.
Silverfox called another excellent game.
It's nice that Dixon and TB are getting along now, didn't think that would happen.
Another great game in the rivalry, unfortunately for my team they came up short.
The Beef had a nice start with a 10-3 lead, but the Storm were able to turn it on at that point. I like that the Beef kept plugging away, but it's hard to beat a team like that in their house.
I'd love to see the Beef get Fuller or O'Neal as head coach next year, and McCullum at QB. Dreaming I know, but man, the Beef/Storm rivalry would hit another level then. Someone's got to take it to the next level or we'll have another 4 year title run for the Storm on our hands...and no one wants to see that.

The killer for Omaha was the 3rd quarter. They only really had the ball once in the 3rd. That possession ended with an INT in the end zone. SF used over 7:30 min, on the next drive, to go 45 yds and score a TD. Omaha didn't get the ball back until 00:09 left in the quarter. SF gave up the hitch routes and rb outlet passes all night. Omaha was able to maintain sustained drives but they struggled once they got into the red zone(small end zones).
After the game, I heard an Omaha coach say a couple of interesting things: 1) Hard to win when your longest pass was only 12 yds and 2 ) Hard to run the ball when all of your offensive linemen look like me (he was a rather large, overweight gentleman).
Didn't take long to realize why Rouse is no longer on the Storm roster. Anyone else see Rollins go after him on the bench in the first quarter, after that bone headed personal foul?

Man, that third quarter went by fast, didn't it?
Rouse said on facebook a Storm guy came after him, don't know or care if true, you have to hold your composure (not always easy to do, but you have to do it).
Saw Tunsil got ejected. Does that mean he can't play for the next game against Green Bay?

Rouse said on facebook a Storm guy came after him, don't know or care if true, you have to hold your composure (not always easy to do, but you have to do it). Saw Tunsil got ejected. Does that mean he can't play for the next game against Green Bay? I just watched the tv broadcast when i got home from the game. Gerald David went low and took him out. It was a clean play. He got up, intentionally bumped into JJ and Dixon on his way back to the huddle(which probably got the ref's attention) and then shoved Davis in the back. Flag. Omaha immediately subbed another player in for him. I thought Rollins was going to kill the guy. They had to restrain him. It was no surprise though. He spent most of the pre-game warm-up pacing back and forth at the 25 yd line, talking trash. He kept carrying-on, being a distraction, during player and cheerleader introductions. Like I said, there's a reason he went from leading the Storm in tackles the first game, to being benched the next several games, to ultimately being released... Tunsil - yes, he'll have to sit the next game. Luckily, DB is the one area we're actually pretty deep at.

Riffs did say thy the IFL looks at ejections on a case by case basis and has once this year not suspended a player for a game after being ejected. But by default rule unless the league over rules it he will have to sit out yhr next game.
Any news how OJ is after his injury?
