Indoor football is just the name of it, that does not imply that you can only play it indoor. It is more style identifaction than anything. that's news to me.

It is more style identifaction than anything. that's news to me. 10 years ago it was probably to be taken literally, but there have been outdoor games with the indoor style of play now in the LFL, IFL, and some others I believe, and they've worked.

I'm ok playing maybe 1 novelty game a year outdoors.
Not an entire home schedule (and I would say the same about the APFL, just in case you were wondering).

I agree, but if it was that or nothing in my area, then I'd take it.
The only thing I'm curious about is if the other league teams had input on the approval of this, or was it just a commish decision. I think its a definite home advantage for sure, since most teams are practicing indoors.

First it was right after the new year, then the day BLZ said, then it'll be something else and something else, then it'll come out weeks before the season start, then it'll change, then pigs will fly, then the zodiac signs will change...wait, what?

I'm sure the semi-pro fill in teams haven't even had try-outs yet... give it 6 weeks

interesting analogy I came up with at 3am...
If the NFL is a Bently, and the AFL a Cadillac (admittedly a bit of a stretch) that makes the IFL a GMC (wants to be a Cadillac, but not quite there) with a few annoying mechanical problems, and the APFL is an 87 Datsun that runs good, isn't pretty, but does what it needs to.

Actually we are a hybrid that does not have enough battery power to make it up a hill.

Actually we are a hybrid that does not have enough battery power to make it up a hill. except the APFL has been doing what they do for like 10 years now.
